Orange juice is one of the favorite beverages of people due to time. It is believed that regular consumption of it can give several health benefits. It is believed that this beverage is high in antioxidants, micronutrients like Vitamin C, Folate, and potassium.

Orange juice has been considered a great source of vitamin C, which is considered to have contributed to the growth and build-up of our immunity. Also, it contributes and helps to promote bone health, wound healing, and gum health. 

As mentioned earlier it is rich in folate which is required for DNA synthesis and helps in fetal growth and development. Lastly, it’s also a brilliant source of mineral, potassium which helps to maintain blood pressure, protects us against heart diseases and stock, also prevents bone loss.

Orange juice is believed to increase the Ph of urine which in turn would make it more alkaline and it’s proven that more alkaline urinary PH may aid in preventing Kidney stones. 

There is also an argument about if lemonade helps in reducing kidney stones, however, studies prove that orange juice is way more effective than lemonade, it has been found that around 194,095 people who consume orange juice once a day, had a 12% lower risk of having kidney stones, to compare to those who didn’t drink.

To be specific orange juice is a good source of antioxidants like flavonoids, carotenoids, and ascorbic acid. 

It has been found out that drinking 25ounces (270 ml) of orange juice daily, increases antioxidant status magnificently. Its believed that drinking orange juice daily can increase antioxidant content in our body considerably as it is said that it’s also a top source of antioxidants in our body.

One study in 129 people found that land term orange juice consumption lowered levels of both the total and bad LDL cholesterol. A review of 29 studies found that drinking fruit juice was effective in decreasing district blood pressure. 

Orange juice has shown an increasing level of HLV cholesterol in people with elevated levels, hence orange juice can improve your heart health and help keep your heart healthy and strong.

May Decrease in Inflammation

Some kind of inflammation is a normal part of the immune response designed to protect against different diseases and infections. But persistently high levels of inflation are thought to contribute to the development of chronic diseases. 

Studies prove that orange juice could help decrease inflammation as it is believed that it poses anti-inflammatory properties that reduce levels of specific inflammatory markers tied to chronic disease.

As we saw through the above points that orange juice is high in antioxidants,  and other vital nutrients with are very much essential for our body especially in these times, it is believed that orange juice can affect your blood sugar levels more than raw oranges.
