The Central Board of Secondary Education is one of the prestigious and national level boards in India. CBSE offers three stream options for Class 11 and 12 students – Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities.

In CBSE Class 11, the students will learn the more advanced concepts or versions of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths compared to school. In school, students are exposed to basic concepts of Science but in school they need to study everything in depth. In comparison to Class 10, Class 11 Science is more about applications, knowledge and visualization. So, if students need to outperform in their exam they really need to work hard. So, begin preparation by making a proper study plan strategy.

Begin with Physics – Students should begin their preparation with Physics which is crucial not only for board exams, but also for various competitive exams. In various competitive and medical entrance exams, Physics is included in the curriculum. Be thorough with the NCERT textbook of Physics and understand the topics properly and study each concept without missing anything. While studying, you have to always make it a habit of noting down important formulas, definitions, diagrams and equations.

Second Chemistry – While studying Chemistry, students should take help of NCERT Class 11 Chemistry. Be thorough with all the crucial concepts, formulas, chemical equations, reactions, etc. Always practice the chemical equations to be well versed with them. To get good marks in Chemistry, students should be proficient in chemical equation and reaction.

Third Biology – NCERT textbook of Class 11 Biology will help students to understand the concepts better. Biology is all about diagrams, so students should daily practise the crucial diagrams. Practise the questions provided at the end of each chapter and make note of flow charts, significant names and short descriptions.

Keep Mathematics at the End – Maths is all about practise and practise so jot down all the important formulas, understand the concepts and practise difficult problems.
