Tips To Be Used While Buying a Smartphone

From 2000 to 2020, in these two decades, everything has changed. From being a rich person having that small Nokia keypad phone to being a middle-class having a huge smartphone, everything is changed. Today, a smartphone carries half of your life. Be it phone numbers, documents, memories or a way to be connected, it’s all in your smartphone. You need to be very precise while buying a smartphone that is half of your life.

Here are some tips that should be in your mind while you are buying your half-life (your smartphone):

1. Make a Checklist

First of all, you need to make a checklist of features you want the most in your smartphone which may vary from person to person.

Maybe you are a gaming person and want a powerful processor to play games. Maybe you are a selfie person then you will need a superior front-facing camera. Maybe you are looking for a fast-charging smartphone and a long-lasting battery life too. Or maybe you need a smartphone with lots of storage to save videos and music.

Be logical and make a genuine checklist before buying a smartphone. Do not get oscillate by the gimmicky features and end up buying a smartphone that doesn’t match your requirement.

2. Performance

The second most important thing you should look before buying a smartphone is its performance.

Whenever you buy a new phone its performance will be good. As you go to put more and more apps and games on the smartphone, its performance decreases.

After some 6 months, you will find your smartphone is hanging. It should not happen. If you get a new phone, then its performance should be good at least for one and a half years.

In the case of performance you have to consider three things:

SoC Processor

Snapdragon 8 Series

Snapdragon 7 Series

Snapdragon 6 Series

MediaTek Hello Series

Storage Type

UFS 3.0

UFS 2.1

UFS 2.0

eMMC

RAM Type

LPDDR4X

LPDDR3

3. Camera

  • Nowadays, people take photographs more than calls. Today is not like before, one camera in front and one rear camera at the back of the smartphone. Now, smartphones are available with 3, 5, or even 6 cameras.
  • So the main thing you should look into the camera is its Sensor and Lens quality.  Don’t run behind gimmicks, like 48 megapixels, 64 megapixels, or 108 megapixels.

Go to YouTube, watch videos, watch camera comparison, read reviews, and then decide which camera phone you are going to buy.

4. Storage

Storage is another most important thing you should consider before buying a smartphone.

A smartphone with 16 GB of internal storage is none of use, it will rip-off. Buy a smartphone with at least 32 GB of internal storage and if possible then 64 GB. With more storage, you can store more apps, photos, videos, songs, and games on your smartphone.

Some smartphones allow you to expand your storage space by using a micro SD card.

Otherwise, you can opt for a model with 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage which is ideal for hard-core mobile gaming and all the above-mentioned usage.

5. Battery

Everybody wants their battery to lasts longer, at least for one day without charging, if not, then what’s the benefit of a smartphone?

Battery capacity is measured in “mAh”. The higher the number of mAh, the higher will be its capacity.

You should buy a smartphone with a minimum of 4000 mAh battery. If you are an average user then 3000 – 3500 mAh battery is enough for you.

You should also consider a fast-charging smartphone with a minimum 18W charger, that too inside the box.

Final words

Now, you are ready to buy a new smartphone by keeping all these tips in mind and considering all the factors. Make your choice wisely and buy the smartphone as per your usage and need.
